Steve,
Not sure if this is the correct venue for my question, but here goes: if/when the DeeTee horse becomes injured/and/or is done racing, is there a plan of action for that horse's retirement? Seriously, I'm not trying to be negative in any way, but the facts are that most racehorses will be retired due to injury or non-competiveness. What thought has been given to this, or is it entirely up to the trainer?

Thanks,
Suzanne

Certainly I think it's important for this venture to be realistically funded at onset, so if you find it's a little short, please post that, the amount of dollars invested for an ROI of "fun" can probably be increased <g>

I know that I never received it. I have been looking for the longest time. I am very sincere about wanting to do this.

I wouldn't be surprised to fnd my mailman tossing my mail. I've gone round with him in the past

found my mail laying in the yard. Could've been kids

Come on Derby Trailers ask for your prospectus and send in your money.
Just imagine this when the horse wins a race

- Your pic with quite a cast of characters in the winners circle
- The memories
- The laughs
- The money you will win betting on our horse

This alone is worth the cost of a share

It's the "cast of characters" part that's worrisome .... being a novice on this board, after reading some of you guys .... will I have to worry about having enough cash left after a winning effort for bail money later in the evening? <vbg>

Check sent today. Everybody get your money so Chuck can claim a runner.

All I got to say is that horse better not show up running around my neck of the woods (Fairmount Park)!!! If so, we didn't do so good

Suzanne..

Good question.. I'd be more inclined to let Chuck answer that. As I explain in the prospectus, there will be a reserve of about 15% for emergency purposes, so I suppose we would do what we could in the short term to get our runner a post-career home and deal with it from there.. We do have a few show/hunter/jumper riders around DT.. Could be an option..

Bottom line is that we'd 'make it work'...

We will do our best to take care of our horse in the event that he/she is longer able to race.
