I'm not sure I'll be able to get out of my driveway this week! We got so much heavy sleet and some freezing rain on top and everything is a solid sheet of ice over 6 inches of sleet. The temp last night was 12 degrees and we won't get above freezing this week. A rare winter in central Virginia.

Send racing tips if you hear of any good races running this week. I got nuthin else to do.

As we compare our tales of woe concerning snow, ice and very cold weather, I take comfort in the statement that "pitchers and catchers report in less than 2 weeks."

As a baseball fan, once spring training has commenced, I know that winter is more behind me than in front of me no matter how cold it is outside.
