As I watched the Alabama yesterday, I was pleased to see that my ROI exacta was a successful wager, although I'll admit that playing the three high profile fillies in an exacta array should have been a high percentage play. It was only after seeing the payoffs that it became clear how many other players agreed with that approach. My total $100 wager had $18 allocated to the Nitrogen/Good Cheer exacta, and it paid $5.60 for each dollar, for a total payoff of $100.80.
If I keep making winning plays like that I could think about retiring.
