Congrats on the win JB. What a strange day. You and Ruff and then a big gap. Nicely played to both of you. (But I'm glad you won. I hate those 17 race cards when Ruff comes out on top)

As RQ pointed out, a very strange and puzzling scoring distribution. I'm equally puzzled over which track to choose for this coming Saturday. Both Gulfstream and Oaklawn have strong cards and both have races that will earn Derby qualifying points (the Holy Bull and the Southwest). I may end up flipping a coin to decide, although I'm looking forward to Fierceness beginning his 3 year old campaign in the Holy Bull.

This might help you decide. Forecast calling for "light rain showers" in Hot Springs. Not seen the forecast for Florida, but guessing it might be dryer there. It was very wet at Oaklawn last weekend. My granddaughter called me for some picks, but of course I was focused on races at Gulfstream. She and her companions said it was very tough playing at Oaklawn so they gave up and went home early. Imagine it might be the same this coming weekend. Rain or not, I may try to play the Southwest. My best play ever was at Oaklawn last year in the rain, but I think that was in the Rebel.
