I had my picks and needed to post and then, I walked out the back door at my house and there was a little 4-point buck in my backyard. He wasn't afraid of me at all and I cut some carrots and threw them out to him. He stayed around for a while and so, I missed posting all my races. Good luck, everyone.

Apparently, I'm easily distracted by wildlife. He's safe in my neighborhood as hunting is prohibited.

I'd be willing to miss out on a contest in order to look at such a beautiful animal too. Thanks for posting the photo Alli.

Unfortunately, they eat my garden in the summer. But, it's fair game, right?

Leigh is my middle name and I don't ordinarily choose horses that way, but Corey Lanerie clinched it!

I'll see all your coyotes, lions, bears and foxes and raise you one alligator. The Arkansas state record gator 13 feet 11 and a half inches and 800 pounds. We have all the same animals as those, you mentioned in Colorado, but must admit the Mountain Lions are a rarity, but occasionally caught on trail cams.
