Scavs,

without knowing exactly who's pointing for the race I don't know if you'll get 3-1. I will say I was surprised he was 6/5 in this race. I thought he would be higher than that.

I just looked at the nominations and it really depends on what Lava Man does, I could see them shipping to Gulfstream to run for 1 million (last second). That being said, you have to think that 12-14 will go, and the field should be a little stronger then today....Wishful thinking probably when asking for 7/2.....

I guess, if Trombetta was pointing to the Donn, they're still on track. I've been critical of Dominguez in the past and today's trip was no exception. Watch and see who gets the mount next out...

He is pointing towards the Sunshine Millions

Steve, if you get Trombetta on, can you ask him why he showed up in front wraps today? Richi mentioned it on another thread

I would be more concerned that SNS Wore front Wraps for the first time that was one reason I bet against him today. I did not think he was moving that well before the race Just my opinion though.

I think it was a precautionary move by Trombetta. I don't think he runs the horse here if ANYTHING is wrong becuase he wants a shot at 1 million in the Classic coming up at the end of the month. Hopefully Steve can get ahold of him/ask him on ATRAB and get the downlow

Sweetnorthernsaint ran a terrific race today. He had a slightly tougher trip than the two horses that beat him, though not a bad one, and lost a reasonably close decision in a quickly run race to two solid horses. I am not sure how the front bandages play into the result. He ran as well as could have been expected...and likely better.

Nice race all around....may we have more of them this year.

I can assure you the front bandages were not on there for decorations.

Please. Hard to believe he clipped heels in October and is still showing wear. Maybe did it to himself in training...Or Maybe MT expects to drop him after the Millions at a price. Wouldn't be the first time a trainer pulled it. Ask Scott Lake.
