Could this have possibly been the worst major prep in the history of racing?

Still a long way to go to beat out the 2011 Santa Anita Derby or the 2016 Wood Memorial.

Plus the 2021 Santa Anita Derby still to be run...

I realize that he was bred by your beloved Phipps (like today's runner-up Dynamic One), but you were aware that Trojan Nation was an 0-for-5 maiden when he got beat a dirty head by Outwork in that Wood, right?

My buddy Michael loved Dynamic one yesterday what a horrid beat, he ran a good race in the context of a slow G1.
