Thanks, Cal, and everyone.
My daughter, Erin, is doing well. She has just completed 4 days of chemotherapy and has been feeling tired, but good. I do enjoy handicapping and it is a welcomed respite. Just need to keep the schedule straight! I was so upset with myself when I realized I was an hour late. I watched the races anyway and enjoyed that. Thanks for keeping me in the loop! |

When I lost my Precious Pomeranian, Qrfluffl last June...
It happened so suddenly All within 2 weeks and she was gone 💔 Emergency gallbladder surgery and a $10,000 hospital vet bill And four days after returning from the hospital ... She went to sleep 💤 ... and never woke up again She left me with a broken heart 💔 And $10,000 in debt My only consolation was holding my Cat 🐈 Hugging My Horse 🐎 *** And Thoroughbred Racing Contests 🐎 Diversion Helps To focus on something other than our pain They say ... Time Heals A Broken Heart 💔 I know that not to be true I’m still crying 😢 after 15 years Losing my beloved Arabian Horse, Destiny to Colic I have lost A Dad + Husband to car crashes 😲 💔 😢 And my grief over my animals is no less than over them My Heart truly knows the pain of loss and heartache 😔 So my empathy with Alli Is founded in experience To quote Barbaro connections Grief Is The Price We Pay For Love 💗 When I Lost Destiny ~ somebody told me this Do not cry because she is gone Smile 😊 for the time you shared |
