It would be nice if racing analysts/commentators had the guts to address questionable things going on in the sport the same way that Nick Faldo and Brandel Chamblee handled the Patrick Reed situation today.

Peter Kostis offered this on Twitter last night on the heels of the latest Patrick Reed controversy and golf’s recent embrace of gambling:
When image is more important than integrity there is a problem. There must be transparency in all areas. Suspensions, injuries, rules infractions....everything. If not, then the whole gambling thing is trouble. The sentiment applies to horse racing as well. |
