For all of the hullabaloo about Prince singing at the Superbowl halftime show this year, since he found religion he's apparently tamed down his show a lot. Some songs he won't do anymore.

Though I always thought "Little Red Corvette" was actually an ode to monogamy.

Now THERE's a song that would take on a whole different meaning if a girl sang it to a guy-- "Little Red Corvette/Baby, you're much too fast..."

I hope you're kidding...both about her ability to sing and her ability to be awesome about all things.

And we forgot that dean of Blue-Eyed Soul, Daryl Hall. And the little guy with the moustache who stood next to him in the videos.

Come on, everyone. "Private Eyes!" (clap) "Are Watching You!" (clap clap)

And how about the old chestnuts that charted again in the 1980s, thanks to being used in movies:

"Twist and Shout" (Ferris Bueller)
"Unchained Melody" (Ghost)

And the Monkees, of course, who had a top 20 with that crappy song "Anytime, Anyplace, Anywhere." Not that I went to their reunion concert or anything.

Three times.

Shut up; I thought Peter Tork was cute.

Have we forgotten Huey Lewis and the News? Or was he mentioned already?

He's currently on Broadway in "Chicago."

Yeah, him. I thought he looked like a short, brunette, moustached version of the tall guy who stood next to Paul Simon in all those pictures from the 1960's.
