As of 12:50am Eastern there have been 31 views of this thread. Cracks me up. Bunch of peeping toms not interested in actually participating in the contest. WTH? It's a fun game, no pressure. Those peeping toms don't even play their hand in the ROI contest. What's to lose? Maybe there is something to learn from each other in how one picks their horses in either game, especially the ROI.

Interesting??? Maybe we just have a lot of fans and don't realize it.

Nice REPEAT JB. Looks like you're back in the groove.

Default Horse Voyeurism?

IT'S THE 'NATURE OF THE BEAST' = VOYEURISM

FUN TO WATCH THE GAME ~
BUT TOO INTIMIDATED TO PLAY!

ON MY OWN CONTEST FORUM ~ TBRF
I SEE MANY THREADS WITH HUNDREDS OF VIEWS!
YET I ONLY HAVE ABOUT A DOZEN PLAYERS!!!

SO MAYBE WE SHOULD CONSIDER IT A COMPLIMENT OF SORTS
THAT OUR POSTS ARE SO INTERESTING TO READ

OR MAYBE WE ARE SO GOOD AT WINNING
THAT OTHERS ARE TOO INTIMIDATED TO PLAY?

BOOST FOR OUR EGO EH!

^^^ You and Roamin are good at winning!! The rest of us, not so much.
Trust me there are players that would blow us all away, if they wanted to. Some go to the NHC every year so I doubt that they are intimidated by our little group. I imagine they check in on what we're doing out of boredom. Not much happening between Sunday and Wednesday for most horse racing fans.

All that aside, I enjoy our little group. With our dozen or so players, I can never be worse than 12th in the standings. If we had 200 players, I would probably frequently be 200th in the standings.

One thing you're very good at Cal s being self-deprecating. I'm very happy you're here giving us all a new target to shoot at, so to speak . . . or a new runner to catch, if you will?! Most of us treat this forum as a part time pass time but with the love for the sport, the horses and the cyber family we've carved out over the years. Some are more competitive than others (guilty) and very few, if any, are like the hard nose handicappers who do this basically every day for a living. Those folks for sure would ride us hard and put us up wet.
