Downthedustyroad's dad stands for a mere $2,500. I know we won't ever compare to Kentucky, Florida or Cali for that matter it's just nice to see my Peep's doing well outside of Hickville. Proper Reality was a Derby contender and was a Arky breed too I think?

Can't remember for sure, but didn't Cole Norman get cited for excessive levels of one drug or another after Beau's Town won the Bing Crosby and ended up getting banned from Cali?

Getting pumped about the Oaklawn meeting! Planning to go opening weekend and hopefully bowl games won't break me before it gets here. A large wager on the Hogs-Wisconsin under 45 with the two ground attacks??

That was an awesome turn of foot Downadustyroad put on yesterday. I liked him a bit but was surprised the price was so low. I thought he'd be the forgotten horse in here given the fact there was Win McCool, Balance and Sqallicious. Was thinking he was a great bet at 6/1 - 7/1 range. Wasnt near confident enough to go after him at 7/2.

Actually I thought his M/L seemed high. He had two fast workouts at 7F prior to this race and had some back class. 7/2 seemed right.

Arkansas-bred Nodouble was champion handicap horse in 1969 and 1970 in the split polls they had then (the other voters gave the title to a 3yo in 69 and a turf horse in 70). In 1969, won Santa Anita H, Brooklyn H, Californian S and Hawthorne Gold Cup; placed in JC Gold CUp, Met Mile, Woodward, etc. In 1970, set NTR winning the Met Mile, also won the San Pasqual H in a NTR (it was a down year for older horses on dirt and he did better than anybody else). He also won the Arkansas Derby and Hawthorne Gold Cup as a 3yo.
