Makes me laugh thinking about it.”

ACTUALLY I DETEST RAP

AS A SONGWRITER MYSELF, I VIEW RAP NOT AS “MUSIC” ~
IT IS MERELY SPEAKING WORDS TO A BEAT
NO MUSIC OR MELODY AT ALL

I agree with Ruffian, all you hear with RAP is curse words and can hardly understand what ever they are trying to say. Give me the gold days of music
preferably COUNTRY!!!!!!!!!!

I saw Dixie Chicks in Little Rock and Fleetwood Mac in Memphis and Conway Twitty right here in Hot Springs. I've seen a few here and there. I saw Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings in Buffalo, NY in 1966.

Here is a strange combination. I saw Jack Benny and Wayne Newton together in 1966 in Buffalo.

I've seen a lot of acts in Vegas, but I don't think any of them were Country.
Hope to see Garth out there one day. Not sure what they charge for those tickets, but guessing four or five hundred? Probably worth it. Would give my first born to see the Eagles.

THE DANCE (Garth Brooks) My #1 Favorite Lyric to Live By
My Personal Mantra Of Life
Having loved and lost so much

“If I knew how it all Would End
Would I have changed a thing....
I may have missed the pain
But I would have missed The Dance”

That has got to be one of the all time great songs. Another of his songs that I like a lot is The River.

I think we are really kindred spirits ma'am, but surely you like the Eagles too? Desperado, New Kid in Town, Tequila Sunrise, Hotel California and many more.

Actually, I couldn't agree with you more. Rap is not my thing either. My preferences in music are eclectic. I like anything from classic to country. Funny, I've been spending a lot of time viewing you tube videos on how to repair a bathroom floor and for some reason a lot of Dixie Chick videos come up. I had just about forgotten just how great their music was and so I listened and watched their videos for several hours one night. Great music!! On another night my son was home visiting and so he and I were watching Better Call Saul which is a hoot. In one episode, an Ernest Tubb rendition of "Waltz Across Texas" comes up. Brought back memories of me riding around with my Dad when I was a little kid. He always had Ernest Tubb or Eddie Arnold or Hank Williams playing on the radio. Seems like an eon ago.
