Some good news/bad news..
Good news.. It's been 2 weeks and I'm able to stand/sit upright for longer stretches, so ATR returns today. Bad news.. I can't see out of my left eye and won't know for at least 2 months how much vision I'll have with it. Can't drive and having trouble with depth perception. Good news.. On the turf today! Thanks again for the kind wishes, thoughtful gestures and overwhelming support through this thoroughly strange incident.
