Hopefully the rain will allow some runners to actually be able to close a little on the main track. First two were merry go rounds

They knew the risk of weather late they could have taken that Maiden Claimer off the turf before the Pick 4/5 started.

Or leave it on. Never been a fan of some races staying on and some coming off even though I understand the thinking sometimes.

I appreciate them being cautious but the bettors always seem to take the hit.
