I've watched it from 3 different angles: Grandstand side, infield side, head-on. I wonder if there is an overhead shot? Seems like that might reveal whether the fault is Gafflione's or not?

Even though the horse was rightly DQ’d I don’t think Saez should be suspended. Some of the hyperbole in this thread is humorous though.

The thought that Gaffalione is at fault is mind boggling to me. Anyone thinking that either bet MS or is overdue for an eye exam.

Where did Gafflione ever have room to make that move ? If he stays put, he might have won. He came out where there was not room. Is he not up Saez’ Ass while max security is still in the 2 path ?

It’s impossible for you to watch videos of the DQ and think he didn’t have room unless you’re trolling or need new glasses. You’ve followed the sport for a long time so my guess is you’re trolling. Not interested in playing that game with you.

I said the same thing at the beginning. The proof is clear as Day. I'm not saying MS didn't come out, but the one hoss came out first. If the 1 doesn't come out, nothing would have happened.

Like I said, not interested in engaging you. You’re never right about anything and this is no different.

You didn't watch the head on bro it is clear as day who is at fault here. It actually should insult your intelligence that Gary West would choose to present a pan SHOT after Maximum Security had already caused the foul as some sort of "New Angle".

At this point, I wouldn't be shocked if anti-DQ folks suddenly find video "proving" War of Will killed Kennedy.
I'm reminded of the song "Cell Block Tango" from the musical 'Chicago.' "He ran into my knife. He ran into my knife ten times..." It's a weird framing that some are trying to do to make Maximum Security the victim somehow. Blaming War of Will or Tyler is just unfair. I don't see how they weren't denied an impressive run. Whether it would've won, who can say when they're trying to get that 10th furlong, but you can't help but watch WoW and get excited for what he's attempting to do...until he isn't and because of MS. I don't expect the length of Saez's suspension to stick if Maragh was able to negotiate down his Belmont days (and I still think his move was purposeful), but I was surprised we hadn't heard of something til now. |
