JolyB keeps on keepin on with another REPEAT win putting himself in a whole other league while Ruffian adds points to here 2nd position with a 3rd in Pts and Cal828 cracks the century mark hanging tough in 3rd. DonGuido takes the bridesmaid role in Pts moving closer to Plen and RQ taking aim on their spots. Cruzan 20024 nabs mmin or honors in Pts adding nicely to his totals nd El Prado jumps up a spot with a nice place showing in ROI.

JolyB continues to pour it on with another THREE PEAT win (setting multiple records this year and we have 7 months to go - see below) as Ruffian hangs tough but farrrrrr back in the 2 hole with a 2nd in Pts. Cal828 gains minor pts for his hold on the 3 spot and Real Quiet accumulates show points in Pts to hang tough in the 4 hole. DonGuido nails a rare score in ROI for show spot and takes the 5 rung of the ladder away from Plen edging closer to the RQ as well.

Roamin42 adds points minor honors for his stay in the 7 hole and the BIG PRIZE of the weekend goes to Indian Hemp for a THREE PEAT in ROI pushing him way up the ladder 4 spots to share the 5 hole with DG while NJH Stinks hits a 3rd place in ROI to help pad his totals.

So we have a remarkable demonstration so far t his year by JolyB. Something that has never happened here before. I guess I guess I used to be known as the "King" of Points . . . NOT ANYMORE. All I can say to JB is (and enjoy) . . . just replace "us" with "him".

Points nd ROI Totals through March 16, 2019

Alighty then JolyB adds to his mega total with a mere 3rd in Pts, while Ruffian takes the Pts win to secure her hold in 2nd place and Real Quiet hits a win in ROI nicely adding to his totals on the 4th rung of the ladder.

And we have a log jamb in the 5th spot as DonGuido, Indian Hemp and Plenilune will battle it out for a gain in the next contest. I don't think I've seen a three way tie in all my years here and there. But if anyone would know, it would be our head statistician Real Quiet.

Thanks for playing and lets see how the Fairgrounds treats us and if a 3YO runner in the Louisiana Derby can put a sparkle in our eyes leading to the Derby that's about a month and a half away. Oh and please keep those cards and letters coming in!!!

Points and ROI Totals through April 6, 2019

Sorry but several of life's challenges have kept my mind occupied lately. Here is a quick update to bring us current. I'll promise to do better . . .

The big points getters include JolyB of course as he nails place spots in both contests and Repeats 'till the cows come home . . . no catchin him for sure. Cal828 lands 23 added points, Real Quiet pulls in 18 points with a nice showing last week and Ruffian edges RQ ading 21 points to her basket. These and the rest of the totals, besides Cruzan adding 16, can be seen below.

Off to beautiful in the Arkansas hills with Dogwoods and Azaleas adding to the beauty. Keeneland's no slouch for beauty either!!! Let's hope the weather is halfway decent. Opps missed Riffians Repeat win from 3/16 1n3 3/23. Now added in Ruffian.

JolyB adds points to his mega numbers with a place spot in Pts and Ruffian takes minor honors with a 4th in Pts to solidify her stalwart hold on the second rung of the ladder. Cal828 looks at show points securing his third place spot while Real Quiet inches up some sharing minor honors with Ruffian and Plenilune nabs the win in points bolstering her nesting place in the 5 hole. No points for ROI wagers, very unusual and lets see how we fair at Laurel.

JolyB hits bridesmaid point again and reaches the 400 level probably the earliest in the history of this contest while Ruffian ties up with JB adding to her totals. DonGuido channels his other self and SWEEPS the contests making a huge jump into the 3 hole. Cal828 gains points with show points in the pts contest again and Real Quet nabs 2nd place honors in ROI just behind DG on the 4th rung of the ladder. Plenilune hits minor honors in both contest bolstering her hole on the 6 hole and NJ Stinks adds points minor honors in ROI.

Let's see what happens at Golden Gate Fields and if the real DG shows up or his "other self" can nab a REPEAT, we'll see about that? And please keep those cards and letters coming in.
