Prado after race 1: Gulfstream main track has good bottom Just had a quick chat after the first race with jockey Edgar Prado, who rode runner-up Thetrashmanscoming. He said the main track, rated sloppy/sealed, has a good bottom, but cautioned that it's only the first race. Still, that shows the decision this morning to close the track for training has left the track in as good a shape as possible at this point in time. We'll see how things progress as the day goes on and there is more racing and, likely, more rain.
