Yes, rain all day here in the north east area on Saturday.
Keeneland or Santa Anita for me. |

Field size for each race probably slightly bigger at Keeneland, if that makes a difference, but weather probably going to be better at Santa Anita. 40% chance of rain in Lexington on Saturday. Doesn't matter to me. My play has been pretty lousy everywhere.

It's fortunate that Don Guido chose a West Coast venue for today's contest. Belmont has just announced that their Saturday card has been cancelled due to "dangerously high winds associated with a powerful coastal storm to impact Long Island and the New York City area throughout the day."
When I looked in at the last couple of races at Keeneland yesterday afternoon, it was raining very hard. A couple of trainers at Churchill have moved scheduled breezes for BC runners from this morning to tomorrow, although by now the serious workouts should have been completed and activity is more for maintenance. All in all, very good choice, Don Guido. ![]() |
