Points and ROI Totals through September 9, 2017
DonGuido seems to be making and unlikely habit of nabbing points in the ROI contest and manages minor honors in Pts as he adds to his lead while JolyB stays within striking distance with nice points gains in both contests as well. Ruffian continues putting more stash in her account hanging tough with the 3 hole. Plenilune and ryonker1 tie for 4th in Pts as they enjoy minor points honors. On the Canadian frontier as we take on Woodbine for maybe the first time t his year. Let's see how we fair up there where the air is more rare . . . celui de mon frere. OK . . . short and kinda sweet, because I'm sure you're all tired of me by now. I WOULD BE. I don't apologize for my somewhat crazy crystal ball world and winning ways this year and I do hope you don't think I'm not thumping my chest with pride. I am competitive but not to the detriment of others. That be what it may is where we are at slowly leading into the fall classic and the best time of the year in my book for oohhhhhh so many reasons . . . and many of you know what they are!!! Points and ROI Totals through September 23, 2017
OK, so no changes in standings except one, as DonGuido (not really using a crystal ball) continues to put on a clinic winning on both fronts and expands his wide lead to record levels with the season not over yet . . . while JolyB lands 3rd place points adding nicely to his totals. Ruffian hits for a nice 2nd in ROI and approaches the 400 mark as Plenilune notches a 2nd in Pts nearing the 300 mark. Ryonker1 nabs the 4th place in Pts hanging tough in the 6 hole and Cruzan jumps over NJ to take control of the 7th rung of the ladder. Points nd ROI Totals through September 30, 2017
Ok so DonGuido takes minor honors this week but adds to his vault with a commanding lead on the pack at this point and JolyB nabs the prize for ROI with a very nice structured wager will Ruffian takes second place again behind JB. Real Quiet hits a nice FPI wager for the second prize an Plenilune adds nice point to break the 300 barrier with nice hits in both contests. Last but never least ryonker1 takes the first prize for points and takes us to Keeneland to test our metal there. With the Breeders Cup and Gallivan Cup Challenge only 4 weeks away, it appears the top ten is lined up. Still some moving an grooving but the top ten is pretty well set.
