Paul Lo Duca was traded for Hee-seop Choi. And I'm going to play a pick 4 on his advice ? He spent 10 years in the minor leagues for god sake. He was an All-Star, but they have to pick somebody from every team. By his last year even pitchers were stealing on him. He may hold the record still for most stolen bases vs. a team.

He's ĺike this great baseball player. He got traded for Hee-seop Choi for gad sakes.

Apparently he's not playing any of his tickets because by now he'd be flat broke and standing outside the track with a paper cup.
What was he like taken in the 95th round of the draft? He was supposed to be a nobody instead became a somebody. Conflating his baseball career to his ability on TVG is like using Ronald Reagan's acting career to criticize his presidency.

Why must we hear 4 time major league all-star every ****ing time this nitwit has his game mentioned ?

I'm surprised they don't have Thick Vic Stauffer on the team too. That would be the dream team of self important ninnies

Everyone gets so worked up... I watch a ballgame until post time of my race and switch over. It is not like I am going to change my opinion based upon theirs. I form my opinion check Byk's opinion, feel better if I see my horse in his list but bet my opinion regardless. No worse feeling then being talked off a winning opinion.

I'll take Reagan the Great Communicator as the on-air talent over all of them.

Imagine:

“A few days ago I told the American people that Plum Pretty was faster than Songbird. My heart and my best intentions still tell me that’s true, but the facts and the evidence tell me it is not."

...plus he could claim that he outran some of the best Thoroughbreds in the world in the 1988 Breeder's Cup Turf while being ridden by Ray Sibille just a couple of days before his Vice President was voted into office as the next President.

He's cherry-picking stats and attacking the man to suit his agenda.

What he fails to mention is that a young World Series winning Pitcher, who was having another fine season (Brad Penny) was involved in same deal. Plus if we were talking about him as a horrible catcher that, he did have the 19th worst (twice) season of any catcher being run on during his time line.

According to this logic (pure baseball), he must of hated Piazza even more.

Every broadcast Sports or news station always mentions their colleagues accomplishments when they introduce them on a daily basis.

I'll make a thread once a few more replacements for TVG on-air talent are mentioned.

So far we've got...

Alec Cabacungan
Vic Stauffer
CGI Ronald Reagan

Wasn't Vic already a member of the cast for a few days and then just disappeared.

Jeez, I forgot about Ken Rudolph. He looked like a guy they picked off a local TV weathercast and just jammed into horse racing.

I'm glad we all can vent. Venting is therapeutic.

I miss HRTV. I paid extra for it and it was the best horse racing TV I've ever had.

I loved Hoover, Brad Free, Jon White, Aaron and Jeff. Good stuff.I met Millie Ball and Zoe out at SA and what nice people, and smart.

I can't stand TVG. Christina Blacker is like fingernails on a blackboard.

I like that Lo Duca is a nitwit. If he is betting, he's going to end up broke. I certainly am not going there with him. If I'm going to end up broke, I don't want it to be because I followed a 4 time All Star nitwit. I want it to be because I was a nitwit.

That blinking does make me nervous. Somewhat unsettling.

I'm not giving my selections, you have 4 time All Star Paul Lo Duca for that.

I'm into horse racing to win. I have to win. If I lose, my whole family will call me a degenerate gambler. The only way I can keep doing something I love is to win.

Ripping anyone's public selections isn't constructive even if you post your own.
Paul L. can be factually incorrect at times (past races and/or horses etc.), needs improvement in that area and often is corrected on air.
TVG is so much improved over the last year with the additions they've made.

I look at what Betfair has done and they've sold 2 historic tracks and have introduced wagering that several English jockeys have said encourages race fixing and corruption. Oh well, it's all ok then. Betfair is a plague. Nothing but damage to the industry. TVG wiĺl be gone soon, unless we keep buying coins, pans and hoses.

Good riddance. I'm stuck betting them in PA. Horrifying. I can't say enough of how bad I think TVG is. I'm perfectly happy watching nyra.com all day. Jf I didn't have terrible laws, I'd bet with them.

If you want to like them, go ahead. I think they are a bunch of shady British carpetbaggers. I'd like to kick them as far as I can.

If you say it's improved, how bad was it before ? I can't even get on nyra.com today, total buffoonery. I end up on TVG and they switch me from the paddock at SAR to a $5000 Claimer at MTH with this guy shilling me a Pick 4 ticket.

I don't think there is an ounce of common sense left in this world.

I feel like a stranger in a strange land.

They've improved the website (not a customer) but what they've failed in doing is replacing the top on-air talent.

Your complaints are understandable. I, for one, am amazed year in and year out they're wasting airfare for Saratoga when Mr. Byk is on site day in and day out.

Big missed opportunity.
