and for those who wonder why everyone is running after what few danzigs are left, they're looking for the late, great danehills replacement.
it is really a shame that this incredible horse was lost at a relatively early age. he still had many years ahead of him.

I dont think the Rock has been quite as good as they were hoping for, well at least in Europe. he got a back end G1 winner in Mount Nelson a as well as impressive G2 winner Eagle Mountain, but with the mares he got, more was expected.. I dont think he'll be the next Danehill!

he may not be, but what are the odds that any horse could be the next danehill?! anyone expecting that will be disappointed. awful high bar being set.
