According to ebet:
Horse Win Place Show Exotic Pools 1 7425 3224 7477 Exacta $46,129 2 91539 21058 479571 Trifecta $24,078 3 1200 652 2248 Superfecta $16,665 4 Double $10,618 5 1735 1089 2628 Pick 3 $27,912 6 7 2688 1347 3269 Total $102,029 $26,942 $464,203 Might be impossible to read, but it says there is $479,571 bet on Beholder to show. Out of a total $464,203 in the pool. Huh? How does this happen?

Must be, just seems weird it's not all updated together. Or, alternatively, that the totals aren't achieved by addition rather than independent transmission.
Beholder ended up with $791,273 of the $854,498 show pool. (92.6%). That's a $108K minus pool. Many tracks would have cancelled show betting when the scratches reduced the race to 5 entries, with a strong fav like Beholder.

$108K was the extra amount needed just to pay off the Beholder show bettors. I forgot about the money to pay off the show bets on the 2nd and 3rd place finishers. According to Bloodhorse, the total minus pool was over $160K.
