john oliver did covered this subject a few weeks ago. it's how the pols spend much of their time once elected. gotta get that money.

also....there are charities who hire call centers. so, beware if you have a supposed charitable organization call you. if it's a call center, they get half the donation, and the charity the other half. so, if the state police (for example) calls you regarding donating to the benevolent fund-it's a telemarketer.
