Yep, I'm here! But hardly anyone else is - one of the smallest Ellerslie crowds I've seen.

Argh! It was raining this morning and the forecast was bad, so I decided to cover today's Te Aroha races at home. Then what happens? It clears up, the track is perfect and the racing is outstanding. Sigh. Wish I was there.

Hollywood Lass was exceptional.

Lovely wins by Perfect Fit, Snapshot and others, including Sofia Rosa in Sydney, but I can't really enjoy them after Recite. This sport is so cruel sometimes.

Have not yet watched any of the replays and I just can't right now. So sad about Recite..,. God.

Very happy to see that both Storming the Tower and Abidewithme hit the board even if they didn't win.

Oh ed, this just sucks. I can't believe it.
