Pretty annoying policy if they have to go all the way down to your basement to then run it back up through your existing cable lines. I guess I can understand why they wouldn't want new holes drilled.

dish is the bomb...and i get the worst storms here,,lost signal for 15 min over 3 years,even in the hurricane..

Do you live in a condo with very strict policies? Some co-ops/condos won't allow Dish because it damages the beauty of the surroundings. (It would be in your manual or Deed)

Yes, they have very strict policies but the president of the board already told me that they would not have a problem with a dish being put on the roof. They will not allow anyone to put one on their balcony but that was not an issue with me because my balcony faces north, and satellite dishes won't work unless they face south.
