Orientate won the Indiana Derby at like 15/1, on the stretch-out, as a 3-year-old...and D. Ranged Lukas ran him in the Breeders Cup Classic next time out. He was on the lead early and was eased when Sakhee hung like rotten salami against Tiznow.

Orientate ran in a couple, I think three or four route races at SA during the winter meet at age 4. He won a grass stake--and him and Western Pride (a Chapman horse) went 1-2 the entire way around the track in the Strub.

He was finally brought back to dirt sprints in the Commonwealth at KEE...and never lost another dirt sprint. I believe he did run in a pair of turf stakes after his Commenwealth win over Aldebaran...with little or no success.
Thanks Druggie.

Ok Balleto, just incase your bored about now! Another Terlingua story. you have to remember i was only 16 at the time and walking Terlingua before she ever started. Wayne tells me she's by Secretariat out of a freakishly fast mare. He sees im dissapointed and asks why, and i tell him cause i think Big Reds been a dud at stud. He started laughing and said not only will she put Secretariat back on the map, but she'll also make a name for Wayne in the TB indusrty. Also before she was going to retire at 4, Wayne told the owners (Beal & French) to keep her as a broodmare because she was sure to foal a champion. Well Storm Cat wasn't a champion on the track ( just missed to Tasso in the BC) but we all know how he turned out in the breeding shed.
