I forgot to pick yesterday! Actually, I tried to pick from my phone, didn't work, and then forgot to get back to it when I got to my laptop.

I'm 2/2, but shouldn't be. My 2nd pick, Prince Valiant, was scratched. I should have inherited the 1-1 post time fav, Inexcess Time, who finished 4th. Instead I got The Custodian, who finished 3rd. The Custodian went off at 1.7-1.

All I can figure is that they gave me the ML fav from the remaining horses instead of the post-time fav. But the rules clearly state it should have been the post time fav. I emailed them about it, but no answer yet. There are probably a lot of people who benefited from the error.

Anyway, today I'm going with The Bench Rules in Race 2.

That was my loser from Friday. I guess the irony of "Send Me A Sign" finishing out of the money was lost on me. Was there ever a clearer sign?

Already down to 40 7/7 streaks out of 3546 players who have at least one show horse correct during the meeting, so it's still too early to give up, even though personally my start has been as bad this year as it was good last year, as I only have one correct selection, and that was a race where my pick scratched and I wound up on the favorite. Still lots of time to turn it around though.
