Some fun trials at Taupo and, while they were only trials, it sure was nice to see Graphic looking so good.

Amazing fields for Hastings on Saturday. A wonderful group in the Makfi, and I think the 3yo field is an outstanding line-up as well.

Hasselhoof's making his highly anticipated third start up at Ruakaka too.

Just saw the field for the Makfi.... absolutely incredible!

The weather is fine at both venues, and the tracks are really good for this time of year. Should be a great day!

I'm covering Ruakaka from home today, but I'll be watching all the Hastings action closely too.

VERY nice 3yo wins by Scrutinize and Coolmore's Love Triangle at Ruakaka so far.

Jeez, hugely impressive win by Serious Satire (More Than Ready-Zarzuela). That's an exciting 3yo filly.
