BTW, Afleet sired to of my favorite fillies Twist Afleet and
Flat Fleet Feet and a nice sprinter Tim Ritchey had Cat Be Nimble. Is he still at stud in Japan? |

Wherever he is I am sure he is glad to be away from Gary Stahlbaum.
I can't decide which ride I liked better...the Met, where he smacked Afleet in the head with the whip, causing him to prop, and lose a photo to Gulch, or the BC Sprint, where somehow the brilliant Stahlbaum had him LAST at the top of the stretch, only to finish third beaten a couple lengths. Phil Teator would have won those races. |

I don't know.
Afleet was the best Canadian horse I ever saw. He was a victim of Gary Stahlbaum otherwise he would have had quite a resume. Stahlbaum cost him both the Met Mile and the BC Sprint. |
