The owner is a trip. Any true horseplayer would love to see this guy win a big race. I only met him once, but hes the kinda guy who makes an impression you never forget.
I really think this is a nice horse too.

He is ultra impressive so far, what he beat is not much, but he will be a force to be reckoned with, consistently winning with authority, even that anchor on his back today wasn't enough to stop him.

Yeah I know, Smith is hard to take at a short price.
He runs like a horse who likes his business but hasn't given his bets quite yet.
I'm not sure his best is much better than today's effort, but he may be a useful open company horse.

I dunno, I see this horse as a horse who may have more development in front of him, but Achilles was DEFINITELY faster at this point in his career.

Mike, had a nice little score with MARGIES SMILE in the 4th @ the Big A,
kinda shock she was let go at 7-1...would have flat bet her if I knew she was going to be that price, can you tell me anything more about her?
