That's definitely true. And Garcia learned well from Castellano and did some nice herding in the lane to secure the win. In the past, if you herd at WO you get taken down. Not today.

That move drives me crazy. It should be enforced every time, everywhere, and it would stop.

Too bad Conquest Curlinate was retired. It would've proved interesting in the QP with Bridgmohan up.

I initially thought that Danish Dynaformer was then a lock in the QP. I watched the replay of the Marine, where DD was shuffled to last and circled the field. The interesting thing is that he passed the 1, Shaman Ghost, in the early stretch. SG was just hanging out and when asked by the jock just EXPLODED by DD to win going away. If the distance isn't an issue, the 1 figures to beat the 7.

WO R11

$300 win 1
$100 ex box 1,7
$50 ex 1,7/11

$50 tri 1,7/1,7/1,7,11

Well done Jimmy, spot on!

I have no idea why the 13 was placed that close to what was obviously going to be a blistering pace.

The 7 got pushed out by the 6. But, even if that wasn't the case, why would the WO stewards choose to look at something that happens just about every race in the biggest race of the year?

I agree, this review is a joke. They don't want to herd and suddenly they are looking at horse that is pushed into another by the horse to his left at the start?

This kind of crap makes people lose confidence in stewards.

Nice pick on winner. I don't understand your tri bet. Shouldn't it be 1,7/1,7/11?
