Unhappy

Bossy Betty Lou, my 2yo Street Boss filly, broke her right leg and had to be put down today.

I just saw her last week at Presque Isle, as we were pointing her toward a July debut. She was a friendly, energetic filly with a high motor, who like to play with plastic balls in her stall. She loved having a ball bounced off her head and nuzzle her trainer, Nick Caruso. He and his fiance Amanda are devastated as she was the light of the barn. A real character.

After the high notes of Chantilly, this could not feel any lower.

RIP Bossy.

Otis
