He made them work him Sunday. He was still going on about the Preakness, even after he already knew about the ankle.

apparently they said the chip wasn't a problem. mineshaft is one that comes to mind that had chips and still ran. some are an issue, some aren't. but him being off apparently was due to the fracture...if the chip wasn't a problem, there had to be something else.

Then they need to make up their minds. The original story about the chip said they would stop on him, operate to remove the chip, stall rest, then turn him out.
