Of course, at the end of the piece they backtracked a bit to clarify that they'll sell single slices to gay couples; they just won't cater their weddings. Because I guess at the end of the day, profits over principle.

Journalists used to report the news not make it. But as long as there are nitwits like Danzig and our former board idiot RIOT et al who not only consume politically correct narratives but are addicted to them, the decline will not only continue but grow.

The focus on wedding cakes, flowers and lack of catered pizza is a pitiful attempt at diverting attention from the true discrimination gays face, both here and especially in other countries.

The country of Iran kills homosexuals and North Korea has no homosexuals yet not a peep from the peanut gallery.

Peep peep......It cannot be argued that gay folks in other countries/cultures have it infinitely worse than gay folks here, but that's a clever smoke screen to dismiss intolerance here. We cannot wait for other cultures to mature, we are responsible for our own growth an we have plenty of work to do. Political correctness aside, I've seen first hand the results of ignorance leading to hate and ultimately violence. I was there in the south in the 60's and believe me it's not about wedding cakes and pizza, it's about human dignity and fairness.

Not surprising there's talk of the Indiana rainbow pizza debacle.

Self-hating idiots. You are the dregs of society. No one outside of the far right nutters gives a **** about your road side carnival bikini cartwheel attention whore routine while your god-like figure bows to a group who executes your protected minority class on a regular basis.

You are nothing but a pleb like the rest of us. You aren't special.

What's sad is the majority of these fedora wearing socialist atheists is they were forced to go to church as children. Bunch of butt hurt babies that never grew up. Get over it and move on.

Hopefully your kids are under Sharia law and they can reminisce about the good ol days and how Christians weren't all that bad.

Cause one thing is for sure...if you blowhards ever defeat Christianity you sure as hell won't be able to stand up to extreme Islam.

Good luck morons.

First of all, by dealing with, including sending aid and making false treaties to countries who have failed to evolve out of the dark ages we legitimatize their actions by keeping our collective heads in the sand.

And if and when bakers, florists and caterers develop hate and become violent against homosexuals, I'll be the first in line to condemn their actions. These businesses are not acting out of hate but rather individual religious convictions that are protected under the first amendment.

Comparing lynching's etc. to gay wedding cakes rings hollow and serves as an insult to the plight of African Americans. You do realize the average gay couple are more educated and earn more than the average hetero couple? Gays certainly should be allowed to marry and enjoy the same benefits it brings in all 50 states but people who are willing to give up profits due to religious beliefs should be tolerated as well.

http://english.alarabiya.net/article...11/265631.html

I intentionally just post old links to see if anyone will read them and are hip to current events. Events that happen that are far more offensive than a rural pizza shop refusing service.

This issue is about terminating 'service'.

This is about appeasing and allowing these monsters to continue to terrorize and grow like a malignant cancer.

I see through the hypocrisy. The ones you respect and adore are the ones I suspect and loathe.

Dell, I am not trying to compare lynching's to wedding cakes, simply pointing out that ignorance is followed by intolerance leading to violence. And forgive me but I'm sick of hearing that the bible condemns homosexuality, the same excuse racists use to belittle black folks. I have a neighbor (sadly) that when we first met, described in detail how according to his understanding of biblical texts, all black folks are descendants of Cain therefore predisposed to violence and lawlessness....I'm all for religious freedom but not at the expense of human rights. These other societies that you rightly (in my view) condemn are quick to point out that they are following their religious beliefs. All the major religions of the world preach love and brotherhood while many of their followers seek excuses to hate and revile.

Oh ffs.

How many people go out to eat and inform the waiter and/or owner of their sexual orientation? This is a preposterous micro-issue that solves absolutely nothing of real importance but mundane hypothetical situations that might happen.

If a person in this country wants to take a risk and open their own business then at the very least they should have the right to refuse service which in itself is a horrible business decision that hopefully would rarely be made.

The fact that a local ABC-affiliate part of the Disney tolerance for everyone but white Christians mafiosi is behind it just makes my skin crawl. They are the biggest bunch of cowards masquerading as bullies in the country.

This country is overrun with fragile narcissists. With their sexual abuse alert dogs and their constant need to find micro-issues online so they can bully people they know won't come and chop their heads off.

Pardon me as I shed a tear for these poor oppressed special snowflakes.

Not lost, just borrowed.

And then...

Always pull out

A day after suicide bombers attacked a pair of mosques in the Yemeni capital, the U.S. military decided to pull the remainder of its troops out of the rapidly fragmenting nation, CBS News confirmed Saturday.
