The inside horse pushed Upstart out, but the second incident is a bit more iffy. I don't think the 5 would have gotten past him if they ran around the track a second time though, he looked pretty determined.

I don't think the second incident happens if he is not pushed out by the inside horse, doubt they take him down under these circumstances.

This sport is the worst. It's bad enough having to deal with jockey errors but you also have the stewards with the audacity to disqualify a horse that wouldn't get beat.

That's a joke. The horse lost by 3 lengths. He was never beating Upstart.

Interesting, they took him down. So I guess it is only not ok to herd if you are pushed out by another horse. Those stewards are mind boggling to me.
