I love the Gulfstream meet. Every year I always start out very slow and donate. It takes me about 6-8 weeks of losses until I start cashing my tickets.

Steve Dunn was on ATR Monday and tells the rather amazing back story of Buster Rose who avoided dying ahead of this run of 5 for 5 turf sprint wins at age 6. It's a tale that again shows how there are countless things that conspire to limit a horse's potential and persevering to unlock them can be can incredibly rewarding. Especially for a small operation like Steve Dunn's. They'll point Buster Rose for the Shakertown in April, a stake that interestingly produces 6-7 year old winners regularly.

It may take longer as the meet starts earlier now and the name jocks/trainers are in the minority early resting up for the real meet. I was ticked off at myself last week for getting involved there, when Tampa is better early on, but they they run limited days. Also gulf should go to 50 cent p3 bets since they now have such large fields.
