It is with much sadness and heavy heart that we wish to inform that STRAIT OF DOVER was euthanized this evening at Milton Equine Hospital in Toronto. He had an operation for a twisted large colon (540 degrees) in the AM on July 11/13. The surgery initially appeared hopeful but turned for the worse the last two days. It was necessary to end his pain and suffering. It is very unfortunate that we will never know his full racing or stallion potential. Many of us will miss him dearly but will always remember the joy he brought us -however brief.
