1 Sterwins - Ran a good race in Connaught, never easy to make up ground in the stretch on this turf course, however not attractive as he will be overbet off his last and high profile connections don't help the matter.
2 Society's Chairman - Runs better away from Woodbine, not a fan of the rider but his best will put him right there. Maybe he will be tighter today when he hung in his last.
3 Rahy's Attorney - The definitive Horse to beat, benefits if there is no pace in the race.
4 Marlang - Off a long layoff and into a very tough spot, hopefully he will ensure a honest pace today.
5 French Beret - A honest horse away from Woodbine, but seems a notch below here. Not his preferred track.
6 Wollemi Pine - Unknown at 1 1/8, think he is better sprinting. Would be a surprise.
7 Baletti - Penna is dangerous, looks like he has a good closing kick, however horses that look good on shorter courses where horses make moves on the turn stall on Woodbine's long straight. Consider as one of the choices.

The pick - Society's Chairman on top, needs to improve a length or 2 to take it all and will be no less than 7/2 and might even drift to 5/1.
