he spoke well, from the heart. i'm sure he touched a lot of people when he said his good-byes.

it was fun watching him grow and mature, turning into an all-time great--esp after frustrating so many who knew he had talent, but just blew it off early on.
but i guess he knew what he was doing, he didn't suffer the burnout so many others do. he certainly did it his way!

i'll miss him. he was always fun to watch, always very exciting.

in the record books for most hard court wins, and the only guy to win the grand slam on four surfaces, and one of five to win a career grand slam.
