Well he'd wake up to the same thing everyday. That would be his home forever. He'd just stand around and look pretty for the visitors. I can't imagine a horse could do that for 15 years (I'm assuming that's how much longer he'll live) and not get bored. If he's healthy, 1 or 2 more racing years against NY competition won't hurt.
