The trailer I saw kind of reminded me of 28 Days Later, but with more explosions (which didn't make sense considering the plot I read). Maybe just because it is an apocolyptic movie and the lead is a brit!

Like I said, best chuckle I've had all year.

I also liked "28 Days Later" but this film is definitely pure science fiction, not horror. (I thought of that movie in some of the shots, though, too- also due to the devastated London, I think.) It was engrossing enough that even after chewing out a bratty teenager who started text-messaging during the film, I still got completely caught up in the film again. (It helped that the teenager kept her $!#*! phone off until the movie was over. Generally I like teenagers, but once in a while...)
