Oh wow, the Galt House Gang. They would meet every year for the KY Derby and the Galt House was their hangout place. They would have dinner there and decide which KY Derby runner was going to get their dreaded Kashmir hex to loose the race.
I believe they put it on Point Given and I loved that horse so much. When he lost I sobbed, literally, cuz I'm kind of a nut that way. After that I strongly disliked them (to put it nicely). I know, I know, it was a silly superstition however it really upset me. I really miss Ron Yonker and John Servidio who are both very nice gentlemen.
