August Rodin should be on the dirt in the Classic. He's been talked up as some sort of culmination of Coolmore's master plan but he's tossed in a couple of real bad races in major races this year. One more in a dirt experiment won't hurt him & were he to win he might make good on all that unwarranted hype. He hasn't been particularly impressive in any of his wins. The amazing thing about him is that has risen like a Phoenix from Arizona twice now after those disastrous starts.

I thought the filly ran better than he did in the last race. That was two obriens on the payroll to get a perfect trip for their hype horse.
