Is the Triple Crown an impossibility this year? Unless I’m missing something the derby will be the last of the triple crown races run. Is it possible that a Preakness/Belmont winner would be racing at Churchill Downs for the Triple Crown.
They will not run a 12f Belmont before a 10f Derby to determine a Triple Crown. Changing the sequencing makes little sense in terms of progression.
