next year rose bowl or citrus bowl as long as it's not the NC game. oh wait, can't be the citrus bowl they'd have to play a SEC team!

ohio st has a lot of players returning next year, they'll be ranked high again, and will finish high in the rankings, with a similar schedule they should go undefeated.

Not that anyone around here is ever interested in facts but they travel to USC in 08/host in 09. That's not a "similar" schedule. I like to rip OSU as much as anyone but they deserve some kudos for going home/home with Texas & USC OOC in 4 of 5 years.

August 30 TBA TBA
September 6 TBA TBA
September 13 at USC TBA
September 20 TBA TBA
September 27 Minnesota TBA
October 4 at Wisconsin TBA
October 11 Purdue TBA
October 18 at Michigan State TBA
October 25 Penn State TBA
November 8 at Northwestern TBA
November 15 at Illinois TBA
November 22 Michigan TBA

I commend them for playing a tougher schedule next year-only helps their cause in the long run and this team will be a major player for next year's championship. They didn't play one tough team this year, granted a couple of teams were weaker than expected (michigan), but playing youngstown st and those types doesnt do anything for them..........love the SEC dominance in the BCS and bowls this year continuing its run as the best conference in football.

i typed that as an IF. i didn't go look at their schedule. it was pure speculation on my part about what they would accomplish next year, which is pretty far off.
i'm plenty interested in facts.

And for what it is worth, when the deal was signed with Washington several years ago, they had a good program, so the game at Washington this year was supposed to be the real test. Turned out they sucked and it wasn't a test at all, and there you have it.

The Ohio State also has Miami in the next couple of years, which falls into the same situation. They were a powerhouse when the deal was signed, and now they are not what they used to be.

Everyone gives teams throughout the NCAA **** about their schedules, but when you have to set these up years in advance it is a total crap shoot on who can be a test for your program.

=====================

I would like you to check the "formidable" secy ooc's over the last few years.

The unranked ,weaker than expected Michigan team vaporized the great Florida...in Florida.

I also love that secy "dominance" is 3-3 vs. the BT in bowls over the last 2 years.
