![]() Curlin reminds me of Showing Up last year. He is no doubt a very nice horse, and he may very well go on to win his next prep before the Derby. I may have to put my foot in my mouth after the first Saturday in May, but I think Curlin will be in the Derby, run an excellent race just like Showing Up did last year, but not hit the board. I think Curlin will prove to be one of the top 3 YO's later on in the year if he can stay healthy.

![]() curlin is no showing up and he never will be, showing up might be the top grass horse in the country, and im sure he could be very very good on dirt

![]() Curlin is obviously a talented colt, but I fear he has too much ground to make up on the field. Last year's best 2yo were a good lot and they are coming back at the same or better level than they were as juvies. This isn't a lot of Action this Days, you know.

![]() I didn't say he was as talented as Showing Up, I just think that the road he is taking is very similar. He sure did look ultra impressive in only his second start.
