Track looks pretty souped up so far.. 3 track records so far...wow! Be interesting if/when it rains this afternoon.

The day has turned into the chalk fest it had the kind of look of possibly becoming.

I couldn't find a single sneaky horse to get even a little excited about on the entire card - and while the logical horses who figured to be bet looked best in many races - most of them didn't look like they were stone cold layups who couldn't lose.

I don't ever remember a Preakness or Preakness card that was less appealing from a betting standpoint than what we have this year.

How did they list that turf course as "good"? It was a bog: 1:54+ for 9F in the Dixie and 1:49+ for 8.5F in the Gallorette. This is misleading the wagering public.

You're right about the card being a stinker and chalk was king for the most part but Pays To Dream popped at a huge price. He made the 9-12 a very generous price.

I liked Pays to Dream, unfortunately what was a decent score could have been great had friggen Shakis run at least third.......what did the KM barn run out of magic potion after Keeneland?
