Default Useless information possibly

Aldebaran is the leading 2nd crop sire by 2008 earnings as of 4/11. Also his average per runner of $25809 is the second highest average behind the sire of Bob Black Jack, Stormy Jack who has very few runners. Despite him being a sprinter, he found much greater sucess later in his career as opposed to his two year old season which may be the same with his runners.

What he really needs is a nice 2yo filly champion.

Aldebaran is graded an "A" on dirt, mud and turf. Graded a "B" on polycrap.

there aren't a lot of horses that get an A and even fewer that keep it.

probably has something to do with the kinda mares he is getting. if he is throwing winners of graded stakes
he will keep getting them
until Street Sense, Hard Spun and eventually Curlin get to take their shot.

Nice.

Found some good Aldebaran info on the Darby Dan Farm site - www.darbydan.com/stallions/aldebaran.shtml

Punched in a Hypo Mating with Sumwon for kicks and was surprised to get a nice pic of SWLY with Lime Green and Royal from Churchill (under photo gallery). Pretty Cool.

It shows up on the website as the hypomatings (of many farms websites) link to TB Pedigree query, where Sum's picture resides

Now ... does anybody here have a friend willing to trade out an extra season to Empire Maker?

(just thinking ahead a year or so for Sumwon .... )

Default Nice prices at 2YO in training sale

At Keeneland a 2YO sold for a good chunk of money who was sired by Aldebaran.

I was just asking for clarification on big chunk. I'm not in it for the money. which is good because I did the math and it doesn't look like I will ever see a dime.
She would have to win the Juvenile fillies (twice)

I am in on the DT babies. Can anyone tell me where to research their breeding pedigree sheet or post a copy for both the girls?
