There aren't adequate words to express how heartbreaking it is to lose John Shirreffs like this.. without warning, without the opportunity to prepare and accept his passing. As warm and engaging and appealing and admirable as anyone in the game, perhaps ever.
Will be missed endlessly by all who respect the sport and appreciate the craft. Thoughts with Dottie and Reagan and all who were touched by his charm and class.
